Tennessee River Camps Rules
REGISTRATION
- Check-In Time: 1:00pm
- Check-Out Time: 11:00am – If you require a late check-out, call (931) 97-RIVER. Late checkouts may be accommodated, depending on availability.
- Guests who have not vacated by 3:00pm will be assessed $150 fee and vehicle(s) will be towed at owner’s expense.
- Guests must be 18 or older to register for a site.
- There is a two night minimum if checking in on a weekend or three night minimum for holiday weekends.
- We reserve the right to reject any registration based on the age or appearance of the RV.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
CODE OF CONDUCT
- Common courtesy will prevail between all persons in the TRC.
- All guests and visitors are responsible for abiding by TRC policies.
- As a common courtesy, please refrain from walking through occupied sites.
- Cigarettes, cigars, or pipes are permitted within your campsite.
- Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- The following are cause for immediate eviction and, when appropriate, referral to law enforcement:
- Display of firearms in a reckless or threatening manner.
- Fireworks.
- Profane, abusive, or threatening language or actions directed at any personnel.
- Guests whose actions interfere with the operation of TRC.
- Grossly exceeding Paradise Landing’s 15 mph speed limit.
- Willful damage or defacing of TRC property.
- There is zero tolerance for the use of drugs. You will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund for any portion of your stay.
MOTORIZED AND NON-MOTORIZED VEHICLES, TRAILERS, AND PARKING
- Motorcycles are allowed and covers can be used if they are of a professional grade.
- Vehicles must be parked on your assigned site or in designated parking areas only.
- Boat trailers will need to be parked at the Paradise Landing boat launch.
- Vehicles interfering with traffic movement inside the park are subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.
SITE APPEARANCE
PROHIBITIONS
- Tent camping, sleeping in cars or outside of the RV is prohibited.
- Cab-over campers may NOT be removed from the vehicle and placed on the ground.
- Structures external to the RV and not an integral part of the RV are prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to; storage sheds, cabinets, enclosed gazebos, and workbenches.
- Tarps.
- The storage or placement of indoor household furniture (couch, chairs, mattress, etc) outside of the RV.
- Clothes lines may not be erected for any purpose.
- Hammocks, swings, etc. may not be tied to the trees.
- Guests are not permitted to cut or defoliate any trees, bushes, or plants on the TRC property.
- Mechanical work of any kind, along with all interior work consisting of floor, wall, or large appliances, is strictly prohibited unless performed by an authorized dealer.
- No sub-leasing of RVs for rental or Airbnb use.
PERMITTED

Propane tanks must be attached to grills, smokers, heaters, etc.
- Charcoal or gas grills.
- Screen houses in good repair.
- Screened awning extensions that are hemmed and not tattered.
QUIET TIME
- Quiet hours are 10pm – 8am.
- Please be considerate of others during quiet hours. For repeated violations, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
- The area is dark, but lighting has been built in to keep people safe. Please use bright lights only when necessary.
- Enjoy the stars!!
PARENTAL OBLIGATIONS
- Children are welcome!! TRC is a place for families to come to enjoy nature, have fun together, and make memories. We don’t believe that children should be seen and not heard. But, of course, not everyone will enjoy the non-stop noise that children can make. Please ensure your children are respectful of others and their property.
- Parents will be held responsible for the behavior of their children.
- Unruly children that will not follow TRC policies may cause eviction of the entire party.
- Parents must supervise children at all times, especially near the water as there’s no lifeguard.
DISPOSAL OF TRASH & LIQUIDS
- Two dumpsters are available for your use in Paradise Landing. There is no trash receptacle located within TRC.
- All trash must be in tied trash bags before being placed in the dumpster.
- Do not store trash outside your RV. Wild animals will be on the lookout for a midnight snack.
- Large items must be disposed of outside of Paradise Landing. Management can assist with providing dump locations.
- Putting anything in the dumpsters considered to be non-household trash will result in a $500.00 fee.
- A $100 fee will be assessed for not picking up after your pets or leaving trash behind (this includes cigarette butts).
- Sewer collars or approved sealed sewer connections are required at all times.
- TN state law prohibits the draining of any type of liquid into the ground.
- Do not dispose of hazardous waste items anywhere within Paradise Landing.
- The burning of trash is not permitted.
PETS
- Non-aggressive.
- Occasional barking is acceptable, but continuous barking that disturbs other residents will result in eviction of the dog.
- Leashed at all times except while in the dog run.
- Waste disposed of properly.
- Current vaccinations.
REFUNDS DUE TO CANCELLATIONS, WEATHER & EARLY DEPARTURE
- We will issue a refund if the cancellation is received 10 days before the arrival date, minus a non-refundable booking fee of $10.
- A cancellation fee of one (1) night’s rate will be applied if cancelled less than (10) days from arrival date.
- We will not issue a refund for early departures, unless it is a flood-related event (362’ according to Perryville water readings).
CHANGES AND UPDATES TO THE RULES
TRC reserves the right to make changes to policies at any time, without prior notice. When such changes are made, all appropriate parties will be notified in a timely fashion.
LIABILITY
Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses incurred for any cause to guests or visitors.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS
The Guest further understands and acknowledges that there are certain risks of physical injury, property damage, and inherent potential dangers of the activities conducted within (or upon) the Tennessee River River. The Guest further understands and acknowledges the risks and dangers associated with his/her use of the Tennessee River Camps premises, facilities, and equipment, and that such use has inherent dangers of personal injury and property damage. The Guest further accepts sole responsibility for risks and dangers which include, without limitation, the potential for serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life, disfigurement, loss of or damage to equipment/property, exposure to extreme conditions, harmful physical conflicts with other guests, animal attack, snake bites, insect bites/stings, allergic reactions, lightning strikes, tornadoes, drowning, flooding and dangers arising from adverse weather conditions, falling trees, fires and burns, dangerous road or trail conditions, water hazards, land hazards, equipment failure, defective equipment, inadequate safety measures, criminal activity of other guests, poor lighting, and other undefined conditions not readily foreseeable and presently unknown risks and dangers (“Risks”). Guest expressly assume the risks of any and all damage and injury of any kind or type which may result from any source whatsoever during his/her time on the premises of Tennessee River Camps.
